Verified, renamed, and founded in the open
What happened
On October 25, 2026 the operator behind this program completed Orb verification in the World App, and the full loop this program builds on was proven end to end in a private prototype: a gated endpoint granted access three times against a real AgentBook registration and denied the fourth when the trial allowance exhausted, exactly as designed. The same day, a systematic search of the public record found the registry linked from the official ecosystem page listing five services — and no public implementation for messaging attestation, content provenance, or the other categories this program works in. The program was founded that evening: nine workstreams in three waves, one public repo to start.
Founding decisions
Public attestations carry a hash of the human identifier only; the full identifier is never published. The first verifier is self-hosted, with a static verify page as the no-install check. Credit is a name stamp plus a house visual style, no product brands. Every public surface ships in light and dark, designed, not recolored. And the program has no token: nothing here is for sale as a token, and anything offered under these names as a token is not ours.
The naming story, straight
The first project was founded under the name “human-backed”. Within hours, a clearance pass found an operating company with the same spoken name selling verified-human trust certification to enterprises. The project was renamed the same night to Fiador — human-backed attestation for Discord bots, named for the guarantor who stands surety for another — and the site and devlog took the umbrella name Operator Verified, after the claim it stands for: verified as a unique human. Its domains were registered the same night. The claim the umbrella makes is the narrower one, and it is the one the evidence supports: the operator was verified as a unique human.
What did not work
The first name did not survive its own clearance pass — which is the pass working, recorded here rather than quietly. The free-trial allowance on the prototype endpoint exhausted at three uses; that limit is now part of the test plan, not a surprise.
What is next
Fiador's build (design stage), the verify package inside it, and this site. Each is labelled design, build, or blocked in the weekly log as it moves.
